2024 -25 Pre-Season Clinics & Tryouts

Chicago Central is excited to announce our 2024-25 start of season programming for incoming 9th–12th grade players and families. Chicago Central represents the following schools for the 2024-25 season as determined by Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois.

Boys: 6 AHAI Schools Francis W Parker School, Latin School of Chicago, Lincoln Park High School, University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, Walter Payton College Prep, Whitney Young Magnet High School

Girls: 7 AHAI Schools Lane Tech College Prep High School, Latin School of Chicago, Lincoln Park High School, St. Ignatius College Prep, University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, Walter Payton College Prep, Whitney Young Magnet High School

Couple of important 2024-25 season programming logistics

• First - As a combined high school hockey program, every player from our assigned schools that meets the USA hockey registration and full equipment requirements, completes tryouts, and registers for the season will be given a roster spot. As a combined program, we are a no-cut hockey program. All players will be assigned to either a Varsity or Junior Varsity team. Girls are projected to have 1 Varsity Team. Boys are projected to have two teams - 1 Varsity and 1 Junior Varsity Team.

• Second – Pre-Season and Tryouts are free of charge, however every player must register at the link below in order to participate.

• Third, following tryouts, team rosters will be announced on or before Labor Day September 2nd. Players families will then receive a separate season team registration link. Families will be asked to complete this registration on or before Friday, September 6th and tender a minimum of a $1000.00 deposit towards season registration costs.

• Sunday, August 25th / 5th 3rd Blackhawks Rink / Girls Clinic 7:00 -8:30PM

• Monday, August 26th / Johnny’s East / Girls Clinic 8:30PM – 9:30PM

• Wednesday, August 28th / Johnny’s East / Boys 1st Tryout 7:10 – 9:20PM Group 1 & Group 2

• Thursday, August 29th / 5th 3rd Community Rink / Boys Final Tryout Group 2 9:30PM - 10:30PM

2024 -25 Chicago Central Season Registration Fees

Boys Skater - $5800.00

Boys Goalie - $4800.00

Girls Skater - $4700.00

Girls Goalie - $3700.00

Chicago Central is a non-profit 501c3 organization. After making a minimum $1000 registration deposit, families may either make payment in full or choose a 3 payment installment payment plan October 15th, November 15th, and January 15th.
